She paid more in movie 'Piku' than Sr. Bachchan.In a recent interview Big B revealed that "Deepika Padukone was paid more than him for Shoojit Sircar's 2015 sleeper hit Piku"

Big B also added, this was the sign of two things, one that Deepika was more important than me and two that he had lost his importance as well as his price tag due to the number of films that he had been a part of. The statement from Big B has attracted the mind towards equal remuneration to the ladies in Bollywood. As many actresses of Bollywood raised their voice for the equal pay.
