Lucknow: Political rhetoric has begun over the growing population in the country. Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has said that it is wrong to link the growing population to any religion and it is a problem for the entire country. Naqvi's statement is also being seen in connection with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's statement that the growing population of a section is a matter of concern.

Let us know that on the increasing population of the country, the United Nations (UN) had also issued a statement saying that India's population is going to be more than China's. At the same time, on this matter, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has said that the rampant population explosion is not a problem, but for the whole country, it is not right to link it with caste, and religion. It may be mentioned that on the occasion of World Population Day, CM Yogi Adityanath had said that while making effective efforts to control the population, we have to take care that demographic imbalance does not arise.

In fact, while launching the 'Population Stabilisation Pakhwada' on the occasion of World Population Day in Lucknow, CM Yogi had said, "When we talk about the family planning/population stabilization, we also have to keep in mind that the population control programme should move forward successfully, but the situation of demographic imbalance does not even arise.''
