On April 20, 2016:Trinamool Congress leader Mukal Roy, said regarding in the midst of the Narada sting controversy that no leader has approved money for personal gains.

"The sting operation had shown persons taking money”,he added

Roy at the meeting said, “Mamata Banerjee has said investigation will be done at party level. I want to say it with great responsibility that those whom you are seeing, none of them have taken money for their own interest or personal gains,"

"Let there be investigation, it will be proved," he said.

After his statement added,"Doctored/manufactured we still don't know. I know my colleagues for long. They are not the kind who would take money for personal gains”
