India's Mukund Sasikumar and Vishnuvardhan have also won the doubles title at the ITF Mysuru Open. In the final, they defeated compatriots and top-ranked Ritwik Chowdhary and Nikki Poncha 6-3, 6-4, in a match that lasted one hour and 10 minutes. Mukund and Vishnu earned seven break points in the match. Mukund and Vishnu took 80 percent of their points on the first and second serves.

Earlier in the semifinals, Sasikumar and Vishnuvardhan defeated second seeds Black Alice of Australia and Vladislav Orlova of Ukraine 6-4, 7-5, to enter the final.

Vishnuvardhan said that he came to the Mysuru Tennis Club at the age of 12. I won my first international tournament here in 2012. Now I am very happy to have won the doubles match. In singles, SD Prajwal lost 5-7, 4-6 to Britain's George Lofgen in the semi-finals. George will face Black Ellis of Australia in the final, who defeated American Oliver Crawford 7-5, 6-3, in the other semi-final.
