The court of Metropolitan Magistrate Ketaki Chavan acquitted Shilpa of the charges in the case on January 18. With this, a detailed order in this regard was available on Monday.

Let us tell you that Shilpa and Richard had participated in an awareness program against AIDS in Rajasthan in 2007 and during this time Richard kissed Shilpa on the cheeks on the stage, which led to a lot of protests across the country. On the other hand, a case of obscenity was registered against Shilpa and Richard under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Information Technology Act. While the case was transferred from a Rajasthan court to Mumbai in 2017 on the orders of the Supreme Court, the Metropolitan Magistrate's Court in Mumbai said that it appears that accused Shilpa Shetty was a victim of the alleged act of accused number one (Richard Gere) in the case. At the same time, not a single point of any of the allegations made in the complaint satisfies.

Shilpa, on the other hand, was accused of not resisting it when Richard kissed her on the cheeks. At the same time, the court said in its judgment that none of the media reports involved in the complaint show shared intentions. This does not make him the conspirator or the culprit of any crime in any way.
