Mumbai: A bad news has surfaced from Mumbai during the world Cup 2019. A cricketer was murdered Thursday night in the Bhandup area of Mumbai. At the time of the killing, cricketer Rakesh Pawar was going somewhere on the bike with his female friend. The case has been investigated by the same Lady police officer who had ever honoured Rakesh Pawar for his brilliant performance.

The role of Rakesh Pawar's female friend in the carnage is also under suspicion. The police are questioning the female friend and answering the question. That's where the killers have been absconding since the incident. On Thursday night, Rakesh Pawar, who was on a bike with his female friend in front of a petrol pump at LBS Road in Mumbai's Bhandup area, was attacked and brutally murdered by 2-3 unidentified assailants. Rakesh Pawar was a cricketer and played cricket for many years at the district and divisional level. He also used to coach people for cricket.

As soon as the news of the attack on Rakesh Bhandup, the police immediately rushed to the scene and Rakesh was taken to a local hospital. There the doctors pronounced him dead. Rakesh's head was attacked with a sharp weapon, causing him a lot of injury. Rakesh's lady friend, who was in the side at the time of the incident, has been taken into custody by the police for questioning and was in search of the attackers.
