Mumbai: Crime cases are also gaining ground amid the corona crisis. Underworld don Suresh Pujari has recently demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore by threatening to kill Kalptaru along with Co-operative Credit Society Chairman Amit Wadhwa and his family. Yes, and five persons including Suresh Pujari have been booked at Ulhas Nagar police station adjoining Mumbai in connection with the case. According to the information received, Ulhasnagar businessman Amit Wadhwa kalpataru is the chairman of the Operative Credit Society.

Roshan Makhija, Umesh Rajpal, Pankaj Triloki and Sunil Udasi reportedly took loans from Kalpataru Society. Not all were willing to pay the EMI of interest on the loan and that is why they approached underworld don Suresh Pujari. This has been mentioned in the complaint. Suresh Pujari reportedly called Amit Wadhwa's different phone numbers on April 8, 2021 and threatened to kill him along with his family. The threat said that if you want to save your life, give me one crore rupees.

When Amit Wadhwa refused to pay the ransom amount, Kalpataru refused to repay the loan taken by Roshan Makhija, Pankaj Triloka, Umesh Rampal and Sunali Udasi from the Co-operative Credit Society and the interest on the amount. Amit Wadhwa and his family were terrified to hear this. Shortly thereafter, Amit Wadhwa reached Ulhasnagar police station directly and lodged a complaint. Now the police have started an investigation.
