You must have known that now less people have been asked to attend the wedding. Meanwhile, the Vakola police on Saturday filed a complaint against three marriage halls and banquet halls in Kalina for collecting more people than the prescribed limit. In fact, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials have filed a complaint regarding the violation of the covid-19 safety norms.

BMC officers have said in their complaint that, 'On Friday, three wedding ceremonies were held at CST Road in Kalina and three wedding halls and banquet halls.' At the same time, BMC officials along with Health Department officials inspected the occasion. During this period, it was found that 300 and 500 people were gathered in the wedding ceremony. Assuming BMC rules, only 50 guests are allowed to attend the wedding ceremony. In such a situation, many of the people who arrived at this wedding ceremony were not wearing masks.

After recording the video of the ceremony, BMC officers filed a case with the police. A case has now been filed against the managers of the three marriages and the banquet hall. The increase in corona cases in Mumbai, BMC and police officers have started taking action against those responsible for large gatherings.
