Mumbai: Corona cases have been steadily increasing in India's financial capital Mumbai. Due to Corona's growing crisis, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is taking action against those who do not follow the Corona rules. In such a situation, is everyone in mind that BMC is preparing to impose a local lockdown? On this, BMC has stated that at present there is no strategy of lockdown in Mumbai. Additional Municipal Commissioner Suresh Kakani said, ''Mumbai does not have a lockdown option. But the worst preparation is ours. I have ordered ventilators, para-monitors, housekeeping staff, the supply of medicines, oxygen, fire equipment, and safety in all the hospitals. So that when patients grow, they should be ready to admit them."
He said, 'Private hospitals in Mumbai have 2523 beds and currently only 779 beds have corona patients. We were earlier making a strategy to allow private hospitals to reduce the number of beds of the corona, but will not do so right now due to increasing cases. 80% of beds in each private hospital are reserved for corona patients at government rates, while the remaining 20% are at hospital rates.'
BMC has intensified the campaign against corona. BMC is taking action against those who violate corona rules at all places. Over the past three days, 1305 buildings/floors have been sealed, where new corona cases have been found. 300 marshals have been appointed to take action against passengers traveling on the rail without a mask. Apart from this, BMC is also conducting raids and operations in pubs-clubs.
