Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has started the process of online application registration for 5,647 houses of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) in Pune region last Thursday. Recently, in the official information, G. Darsal said it has come to the fore that these houses are going to be constructed at Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli and Solapur. However, "through the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority, the work of providing affordable rates to the general public will commence." In this regard, Ajit Pawar said, "These schemes are getting a good response because of the confidence in the minds of the people. The lottery process is very transparent, it does not put any middlemen."
Because of this, the common people cannot be subjected to any kind of deception. State Home Minister Jitendra Awadh, Minister of State for Housing, Sataj Patil and senior officials were present on the occasion. "The online applications for these flats have commenced from 5:00 pm on 10th December 2020 and are going to continue till 12:00 pm on 11th January 2021. Online lotteries will be withdrawn in the coming month of January. Under the housing scheme constructed by MHADA, citizens will be provided houses at affordable rates."
With this, there are 514 flats in Mahalunge (Chakan) under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and 296 flats at Talegaon Dabhade in Pune district. Let us also tell you that there are 961 such flats in Solapur district, 77 in Karamla and 74 in Sangli. Under the project constructed by Mhada, there are 1,079 flats at Morwari Pimpri in Pune and 992 in Pimpri Waghere. Under the 'first come first serve' housing scheme, 410 flats have been provided in pune municipal corporation and 1020 flats in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. Mhada means the Maharashtra Housebuilding and Sector Development Authority and it is a scheme of the Maharashtra government.
