Mumbai: Three people were killed on suspicion of theft in Gadchinchale village under Palghar in Mumbai. Collector Kailas Shindane told that, "He was declared dead in the hospital. Around 110 villagers have been brought to the police stations for questioning. Further investigation is going on. According to the information received, these three people were from Mumbai to Surat. While going to attend the funeral, a crowd of about 100 people broke up in Palghar district.

The villagers understood these people as thieves and went on attacking indiscriminately. The villagers were so angry that they also attacked the police car. These three people were going to Surat by car, these villagers stopped their car and pulled the three victims out of the car. According to the police officer, "As soon as we got the news of the incident, we reached there but the number of villagers attacked was so much that we could not save the victims." The attackers have also damaged police vehicles. Investigation continues in this case, 110 people convicted have been taken into custody.

These people have been identified as Sushil Giri Maharaj, Jayesh and Naresh Yalgade of Kandivali. These people were going to attend the funeral of someone in Surat by rental car. Even after the lockdown, all three managed to travel 120 km from Mumbai. Rumors of the child thief gang had spread throughout the region for a few days. The people just understood them of this gang and started attacking without thinking, later they were rescued by the police team who reached the spot but the three died in the hospital.
