Mumbai Police gets major breakthrough, 3 arrested with drugs worth crores

Mumbai: The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has taken major action in the drugs case. The crime branch team on Thursday arrested 3 drug peddlers. Due to this, the team has got 16 kg 100 grams of drugs. The price of these drugs in the market is being said to be around Rs 16 crore.

In fact, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch had received news that 3 persons were coming to the Untop Hill area to sell drugs. Soon after receiving the news, the crime branch team of the police took action and arrested the drug peddlers red-handed. Police have registered a case under the NDPS act against all three criminals and started an investigation. Police suspect that there may be a big hand behind running this gang.

For the past few days, a campaign against drugs has been launched in Mumbai by the Narcotics Control Bureau, Mumbai Crime Branch and other institutions. Its intake, transactions and sellers are being closely monitored. Recently, the Crime Branch and the Narcotics Control Bureau (Narcotics Control Bureau-NCB) arrested several such persons in Andaman and Adjoining Areas of Mumbai.
