Mumbai: Mumbai University has tied up with online higher education brand upGrad to launch two MA programs online and blended formats which will be taught in Marathi, alongside Hindi and English.

In history, it's the first time that Mumbai University has driven an online programme which will be taught in Marathi. The two online courses are for MA in Journalism and MA in PR and Communications. The two job-oriented PG programmes are seeing high intent from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane regions of Maharashtra.

Special seats reserved for specially-abled learners. The first cohort is scheduled to commence on December 31.

The two MA programmes from their offline counterpart are both programs offer personalised learning tracks like Job Tracks, Self-Employment Track, and the Competitive Exam Track. The learning modules will include live doubt-solving sessions, discussion forum, career coaching, and a 15-hour per week programmed structure with live and recorded lectures delivered by the industry leaders and university faculty.
