Mumbai: A surprising case has come to light in the police station adjacent to the capital of Maharashtra. A 70-year-old woman has been murdered here. The woman's body was lying in her apartment. The police say that the body has been recovered and transported for postmortem. The inspection of the matter is going on. After the death of veteran, people in the area are in a lot of panic and at the same time questions are being raised about the safety of senior citizens.
Police also say that when they got the information, they reached the spot. The woman's throat was cut with a sharp weapon. The body was identified as Hansaben Pravin Thakkar. The body was recovered from the ground floor apartment itself. There were many bruises on her body. Police has also registered a case of murder against unknown person. The police team is engaged for investigation in the case.
Police say the incident was revealed when the woman did not pick up her daughter's phone for too long. Then the daughter reached home. When she opened the door, she saw that the mother's corpse is lying on the ground and a lot of blood was spread there. Police say that at first, it seems that this murder has not been done for loot. But no valuable goods have been reported missing from the house. Police say that investigation is being done and many circumstantial evidence are being collected from the spot. The elderly woman lived alone in the house.
