Gorakhpur: The mother of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Parshuram Shukla and an innocent one-and-a-half-year-old son have been brutally murdered in Gorakhpur, the home town of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi. The BJP leader's wife and 10-year-old daughter are in critical condition in the attack by Pattidari's brother. All four were attacked with shovels. BJP leader Parshuram was not present in the house at the time of the attack.

Patidari's brother Sitaram Shukla and his family members stormed the house of Parshuram Shukla, a district executive member of BJP Kisan Morcha, between 7 pm and 8 pm on Tuesday, July 27 in the Tenuaa village under Harpur-Budhat police station area of Gorakhpur. Parshuram Shukla has gone to Ludhiana for some work. In fact, on Tuesday afternoon, the police came to Sitaram Shukla's family to investigate and interrogate the complaint of the IGRS portal. When Sitaram returned after the police left at around 7 pm, Sitaram returned in an auto and the family informed Sitaram. Then blood mounted on his head.

Sitaram and his family took a shovel and stormed the house of Parshuram Shukla, a member of the District Committee of the BJP Kisan Morcha and brother of Pattidari. There he stabbed Parshuram Shukla's mother Vimla Devi, 70, and her one-and-a-half-year-old innocent son Raunak, in the head and neck with a shovel, and brutally murdered them. Parshuram's wife Sushma Shukla and her 10-year-old daughter, who came to the rescue, were also stabbed in the head and other parts of the body by the attackers. Sitaram Shukla and his family fled after committing the crime.
