S Thaman, a well-known Telugu music director, has tested positive for COVID-19. He has been afflicted with moderate symptoms and is currently recuperating from the fatal illness at home. On Twitter, Thaman verified the news.

"Hello everybody, I have tested positive for Covid-19 with moderate symptoms, despite taking all the appropriate measures and being vaccinated," he said in a lengthy Twitter statement. I've secluded myself and am following my physicians' recommendations for safety precautions. I am requesting that everyone who has come into touch with me be tested. I strongly advise everyone to be vaccinated and follow the Covid safety precautions. Keep yourself safe. "I am eternally grateful for your support."

Fans and other celebs have been leaving good wishes on Thaman's recent post. Bobby, a Telugu director, wished the composer a speedy and complete recovery. "Wishing you a swift recovery sweetheart @MusicThaman, Can't wait to see you in energetic mode defeating #Covid19," he said on Twitter.

Coronavirus has infected a number of celebrities. Despite taking all the usual measures, superstar Mahesh Babu tested positive for COVID-19. Mahesh has been experiencing some slight symptoms as well. Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, and Rakul Preet Singh were among the celebs who wished the actor a speedy recovery. In addition, actress Lakshmi Manchu recently tested positive for the virus.On the professional front, Thaman recently announced on social media that he will be composing music for Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film alongside director Anudeep KV.
