A shocking incident comes to light from Assam’s Duliajan where a 17-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by a Muslim man. As of now a missing complaint on the matter was filed by the father of the girl with the Duliajan Police Station. The girl has been identified as Jolly Agarwal. The girl’s father accused a Muslim man who is a driver for kidnapping his daughter. Police Officials are searching for the accused and the 17-year-old as of now.

According to the information the 17-year-old had gone to tuition and did not return on January 1, 2023. The girl’s family alleged that the girl was kidnapped by Jahidul Ali who is a local driver from Barpeta district. As per the girl’s father Ali kidnapped his daughter who was also missing since Sunday. However, the father of the missing girl did not mention Ali’s name in the Police complaint.

As per the Dibrugarh Superintendent of Police has started search operations for the accused and the girl. The phone number of the accused is switched off.  As per the Police official, the phone of the accused was switched off in the Hatigaon area in Guwahati.

Barpeta Police. They have been asked to launch a search operation in Kalgachia, the native place of the accused. The police have found two contacts of the accused from Basishta and Dilijan. As of now police is looking into the matter and further investigation is going on. They are searching for the girl and the accused.
