New Delhi: Several Muslim organisations have also supported the vigorous action of Thursday's (22 September 2022) raid against radical Islamic outfit Popular Front of India (PFI). Those supporting the action on PFI include Sufi Khanqah Association and the All India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaj. Kausar Hasan Majidi, national president of Sufi Khanqah Association, has even written to PM Narendra Modi demanding a ban on PFI.
According to reports, Sufi Khanqah national president Kausar Hasan Majidi's letter to PM Modi told that PFI is involved in anti-national activities, so it should be banned. He has alleged that the PFI is misleading the youth of the country and making them terrorists and for the last two years, it has been admitting fighters for the terrorist organization ISIS to fight the war against the country. Kausar Hasan Majidi has also said that the ideology of PFI is not in the interest of the country. It is constantly working to poison the country. It is good to ban an organisation whose ideology is against the country.
He has also said that banning has been an old demand, but just banning will not do anything, but some concrete steps should be taken against such ideology. Unless concrete steps are taken against such ideology, such organisations will continue to emerge. Parvez Hanif, national president of the All India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaj, said in a press release, "The National Security Agency of the Government of India has registered a case against the PFI on the basis of its suspicious activities and arrested many of its activists. The All India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaj supports the government's decision to conduct the raid. assuming that it is in the best interest of the country. Our organization has full faith in the Indian Constitution.''
