To make a paste, 'black mustard - 1/2 teaspoon' yellow mustard - 1 teaspoon
Method of preparation: Put both mustard in water and leave it for two to three hours. When the mustard is soaked well, take it out of the water and put it in the grinder. Add green chilies and a quarter cup of water and grind them. Put the potatoes in the cooker. Allow the pressure of the cooker to drain automatically. Peel the potato and cut into one inch big pieces. Heat two spoons of oil in the pan and add potatoes to it and fry until golden. Take out the potatoes from the pan and add fennel to the remaining oil in the same pan.
When the nigella starts crackling, add onion to the pan and fry till it becomes golden. Now add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala, ginger-garlic paste and salt in the pan and mix. If the masala starts sticking in the pan, add one or two teaspoons of water to it. Fry the spices for two to three minutes. Now add mustard paste and a cup of water to the pan. Cook on medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Finally, add coconut milk and mix. Cook five minutes on low heat. Do not make the mistake of cooking on high heat, otherwise, the coconut milk will burst. Turn off the gas and add the potato pieces to the mixture. Serve hot with roti, rice or naan.
