Lucknow: Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee, who reached Varanasi to campaign for SP chief Akhilesh Yadav for the last phase of voting, targeted the BJP. She said that BJP used to say earlier that we will bring good days. In the name of good days, these people are selling railways, airports, banks. Demonetisation was done in the name of good days. On showing black flags in Varanasi on Wednesday, Bengal CM said that, on the day when I was going to the ghat from the airport, I saw some BJP workers - who have nothing but hooliganism in their mind. Was stopping my vehicle.

"They hit my car with lathis and asked me to go back. Then I realized they were gone. Now the BJP's loss is near. She continued, "I'm not afraid. I'm not a coward. I have faced beatings and bullets many times in my life, but I have never bowed down. Yesterday when they were surrounding me, I got down from my car and faced them to see what they could do. Mamata Banerjee also called the BJP a coward.

TMC supremo and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, who arrived in Kashi on Wednesday, was shown black flags at three places. 20-25 activists of the Hindu Yuva Vahini, who had gathered near the Chetganj Labour crossroads, had waved black flags and protested against Mamata Banerjee.
