Priyanka Chopra, the actress who yesterday has been conferred the Padma Shri by President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, is happy and felling proud.

PeeCee, who is recently shooting for American TV show Quantico, flew down to India to receive the award. And said, “my  father Ashok Chopra would have been very proud”

Asked her about the Indian award, the actress said, "Very important...First of all being from a defence family, this means a lot. My father would have been very proud. Getting an acknowledgement for my job is an another feeling all together...It's an incredible feeling."

"Two days of shooting were put on hold to come here. Now the entire cast will work on Saturday because I had to come here. They (international team) never work on weekends, but they understood how important it was for me," she added, As the actress is busy in shooting Quantico season 2 and also she seen in Baywatch.
