Apart from this, there is news that Reliance Jio has supported the UPI payment in My Jio app, at present, only a few consumers are getting this feature. According to entracker's report, the option to add a virtual payment address (VPA) and UPI ID is available in My Jio app. The same had come before that a report said that Reliance Jio is talking to Axis Bank, ICICI and State Bank of India for UPI payment.

After this, the consumer has to give a mobile number, debit card number and bank account. After signing the same, the My Jio app also looks like other UPI payment apps like Google Pay and PhoneP. The company said that the consolidated net profit for the third quarter of 2019-20 was Rs 11,640 crore, which is 13.5% higher than the previous year.
