In Hinduism, Yamraj is considered the god of death. It is also found in many ancient texts. Although no one knows where Yamraj lives, there is a place on earth where there is a mysterious door. Yes, today we are going to tell you about this mysterious door. These doors are called 'Yama Dwar' i.e. 'Entrance gate of Yamraj's house'. This entrance falls on the way to the holy Kailash mountain. Yama Dwar is located at a height of about 15,500 feet, 15 kilometers from Darchen, a village in Tibet. It is the starting place for the Parikrama tour of Mount Kailash. The people of Tibet call this place by the name 'Chorten Kang Nagyi', which means 'two-legged stupa'. The belief is that no person who stays in the night inside the Yama Gate remains alive. It is said that many such incidents have happened here, but the reasons for his death have not been known to date. With this gate, it is also said that who built it and when nobody knows. Many types of research were done about its construction, but nothing was known.

It is also said that Tibetans pull hair from their bodies and offer it at Yama Gate. They see this as a symbol of self-sacrifice. Buddhist lamas come here and wish for salvation. Sometimes the sick lamas come here and give up their lives, so that they may attain salvation. According to beliefs, if you have done the circumambulation of Yama Dwar, it will be considered like completing the Kailash Yatra. Apart from this, it is also said that revolving the Yama Gate leads to heaven. It is also believed that if you pass through the Yama Gate then Chitragupta removes all your evil deeds from the book of judgment.
