Amidst the havoc of Corona, Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda has asked party workers to convey the message of lighting a flashlight of a lamp, a torch or a mobile on Sunday. He said that India has become a role model to the world to help the poor during lockdown.

On Friday, Nadda tweeted that the people of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have continued the fight against the novel corona virus. He said that lighting the lamp will increase the morale of the country. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that following the PM's appeal, everyone should light a lamp around 9 pm.

Apart from this, he also shared a video in support of his talk, in which WHO Director General Tedros Adanom Gabriiasis praised the Government of India for declaring a relief package for the poor. He said that in this difficult time of the fight against Covid-19, everyone is praising PM Modi's leadership and his efforts.
