Only a few days are left for the day of 'Nag Panchami' when snakes are worshiped. Snakes are welcomed at home like a guest and are offered with milk. Usually, milk in a bowl is kept during the day outside our house. On this auspicious day of Nag Panchami, welcoming 'Nag Devta' in houses worshipped for well-being in the family. One shouldn't be afraid to welcome 'Nag Devta' in house, rather, one should celebrate them with prosperity.
This auspicious day, where people visit temples and homes to worship them through a picture or statue of 'Nag Devta', if 'Nag Devta' himself comes to your door, then one should consider themselves fortunate enough. One should offer a bowl of milk to 'Nag Devta' at the entryway of the house for welcoming them.
It's an old saying ' if we offer milk on the entrance to snakes because some people consider 'Nag' to be their enemy, then while greeting him with delicious food, his anger would be reduced to some extent and 'Nag Devta' will bless upon us. Not only this, on the day of Nag Panchami, with the arrival of Nag Devta in our house, indicates a wealthy and healthy environment in our house.
