In a joint operation, The Assam Rifles and personnel of Nagaland Police busted an illegal camp of the NSCN-K (Khango) in remote Hosephu area in Zunheboto district many items including uniforms, rations and tents were also recovered from the camp.

In a tweet The Assam Rifles  wrote in Tweet, The Assam Rifle in a joint operation with Nagaland Police apprehended an armed cadre of NNC GDRN (NA) from general area Signal Angami (Dimapur district) recovering one pt 32mm Pistol with live rounds & also busted an insurgent hideout in gen area Hosephu(Zunheboto district)."

The camp was busted after receiving specific inputs about the illegal camp in the area. The camp was destroyed by burning it down. On the other hand, many items including uniforms, rations and tents were also recovered from the camp. The recovered items were later handed over to the Aghunato Police Station in Zunheboto district.

In another successful operation, Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Nagaland Police apprehended an armed cadre of NNC GDRN (NA) from Signal Angami (Dimapur district).
