Nagpur: A four-pronged case has come to light from Maharashtra. In fact, a 25-year-old man has raped an innocent seven-year-old girl in Nagpur district. The incident is said to be from a village in Katol tehsil of the district. Late last Saturday (June 12th), the accused caught the dirty eye of a girl playing inside a school premises and then committed a heinous act. Police have reportedly identified the accused as Ankush Bhaskar.
In the case, police said that the girl was playing in a school ground in the village when the accused saw her and picked her up and took her to the toilet. The accused then raped the girl in the toilet. After raping her, he also threatened to kill innocent if she tries to tell anyone about it. According to reports, a man from the village passing through the spot heard the screams of the girl. The accused fled as soon as he approached the girl.
However, the police have arrested him. Police have now registered a case against the accused under several sections of The Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO). Let us also tell you that the entire case is now being investigated by the Katol police and the accused was produced before a local court after which the court remanded him to three days police custody.
