Breaking! Namibian Cheetah Shaurya Dies in MP's Kuno National Park

In a latest breaking news, it has been reported that Shaurya, a cheetah who was relocated from Namibia, has tragically died at Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. The news comes as a significant blow to India's Cheetah reintroduction program, with officials confirming the incident.

The exact cause of Shaurya's death remains unknown, and authorities plan to determine it through a post-mortem examination. The Director of the Lion Project conveyed this information in a press release issued on Tuesday.

On July 14, 2023, it had revealed that another cheetah was found dead in Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh. Today's deth  marks the sixth adult cheetah to have died since the translocation of 20 of these animals from Namibia and South Africa a year ago.
