1. Naraka Chaturdashi: It is said that Lord Krishna killed Narakasura on this day, hence it is called Naraka Chaturdashi and worship Lord Krishna with his wife Satyabhama on this day.

2. Shiv Chaturdashi: This day is also called Shiva Chaturdashi because of this reason, we also worship Shiva on this day.

3.Vamana Pooja: On this day, Lord Vamana made King Bali as the king along with the boon of being Chiranjeevi. On the day Vamana also worships.

4.Yam Pooja: After dusk on this day, lamps are lit in and around the house and pray for no premature death and healthy life from Yamraj.

5. Hanuman Jayanti: Hanuman ji was born on this day, because of this, Hanuma-ji is worshiped on this day.

6. Kali Chaudas: In Bengal, this day is celebrated as the birthday of mother Kali.
