Fire breaks out in Delhi's shoe factory, 2 killed, 4 trapped

New Delhi: A shoe factory in Narela area of Delhi was engulfed in flames due to the fire on Saturday late last night. The same fire was so fierce that 24 fire engines were sent to extinguish it. The officials gave information about the case on Sunday morning.

According to the information received, the fire department officials told that two persons are feared trapped inside the building and they are being searched. The same Chief Fire Officer Atul Garg said that the fire spread to the underground floor, ground floor and two floors above the shoe factory. Information about the incident was received late at around 12.45 am.

According to information received from sources, he said that 24 fire engines were sent to the spot, with the help of which the fire was controlled. A fire broke out in the early hours of Monday. Eight fire engines reached the spot on notice of fire. He overcame the fire after nearly two hours of effort. During this, 15 workers trapped in the factory were evacuated. After extinguishing the fire, the bodies of these 2 laborers were found in a search operation. The dead have not yet been identified.
