Bhopal: Farmers have been protesting for the last nearly 70 days against three new agricultural laws brought by the central government. They demand that the government repeal the laws to all three. They will not stop the protests until the laws are repealed. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran leader Narottam Mishra has reacted to the performance of farmers on Wednesday.

Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said, ''The farmers' movement is an experiment. If it is successful, people will start protesting against CAA-NRC, Section 370, and Ram Mandir. No one is able to understand 'what is black in relation to black law'. These protests are based on assumptions.'' At the same time, in the presence of thousands of farmers in the Jind district of Haryana today, the Kisan Mahapanchayat unanimously passed a proposal to repeal the three controversial agricultural laws.

In this mahapanchayat, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait declared that 'if their demands are not met, they will organize a mahapanchayat at the all India level.' To gain support and accelerate the farmers' movement, Tikait reached here at Kandela village, where he addressed the 'Mahapanchayat'. People strongly welcomed him here.
