The month of May is full of surprises, thanks to SW3 comet that has now separated. As a result, a new meteor shower will be available to watch on May 30th or May 31st.

Scientists at NASA say, a powerful meteor as powerful as Tau Heraculids is approaching towards Earth. The meteor shower will appear May 30th night till May 31st early morning. They concluded saying this will be the brightest lightening this year.

Bill Cooke, the chief of the Meteoriod Environment Office confirmed and said that it would be ‘an all or nothing event’ as it would cause a striking lightening display in the sky.

NASA confirmed that the tau Herculids would be the extracted debris from SW3 or 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann. The comet was discovered in 1930 by two German scientist - Arnold Schwassmann and Arno Arthur Wachmann. Therefore it has been named after them.
