NEW DELHI: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Saturday that the country has progressed from a "tocken of solution" to a "total solution" in the healthcare sector, citing Tele-consultation as an example.
With over one lakh Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centres (AB-HWCs), state Health Ministers, senior officials from all states and Union territories, healthcare workers from various hospitals, and development partners, he was chairing the 4th-anniversary celebrations of Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centres (AB-HWCs).
"In the development sector, health is a major concern. We have advanced from a token solution to a total solution in the healthcare sector, thanks to the Prime Minister's visionary leadership "declared the Union Minister of Health.
People in many states have been quick to recognise the benefits of e-sanjeevani, which has resulted in an encouraging trend of widespread rapid adoption of this digital modality of seeking health services, said Mandaviya, who also mentioned that some HWCs were also providing screening services for serious diseases such as Oral Cancer, Breast Cancer, and Cervical Cancer. This assists the government in not just early detection but also early treatment of patients. A healthy society can only be built by healthy citizens, and a healthy society can only be built by a healthy nation. He stressed that AB-HWCs are a stepping stone toward this aim.
