Thiruvananthapuram: Yoga guru Ramdev today stated that his organization has sent relief material worth Rs 50 lakh to flood-affected areas of Kerala and Karnataka. & we will be sending material worth Rs.1.5 crore more, He told to the leading news agency ANI.
He added that nation is proud of the rescue & relief operations conducted by our security forces in the flood affected areas: Yoga Guru Ramdev"We will be sending material worth Rs 1.5 crore more," he said.

The Navy ALH is also being used for the relief and rescue operations as part of navy's 'Operation Madad' which was launched to help the flood victims. It has now been deployed for rescue in North Paravu, as Times Now reported.
The rescue operations have been stepped up in flood-hit Kerala and Karnataka where several thousand are stranded and as many as 8 lakh people are displaced. The NDRF, Army, Navy, Coast Guard, and the Air Force have been working together, with teams spread out over all affected districts, to offer relief to the flood victims.
