Today, on the 27th of December, 108 years ago, the national anthem of India "Jana Gana Mana" was recite for the first time. Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore was the author of the national anthem and it was sung for the first time on the public stage by his niece Sarla. The national anthem was composed in Bengali, which was later translated into Hindi and Urdu by Abid Ali. However, during the Kolkata session of the Indian National Congress on 27 December 1911, the national anthem was sung in Bengali and Hindi language for the first time. Some school children sang this song in front of leaders like Congress President Bishan Narayan Dar, Ambika Charan Mazumdar, Bhupendra Nath Bose.
Few people are aware of this particular thing that the national anthem is also available in the English version, which is known as "The Morning Song of India". Rabindranath Tagore had translated the national anthem into English in 1919 and the English composer Herbert Murill sang this song on the orchestra.

When India became independent on August 15, 1947, the Constituent Assembly sat for the first time, which was concluded with "Jana Gana Mana". In 1947, when the Indian delegation was asked to present the national anthem at the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York, the General Assembly was given a recording of "Jana Gana Mana". However, it got the status of the national anthem in 1950. On 24 January 1950, the assembly sat to sign the Constitution of India and the country's first President Rajendra Prasad formally declared "Jana Gana Mana" as the national anthem.
