However, in the meantime, the police got secret information that people are being brought in from different districts in Kolkata to perform surprise surprise.

According to media reports, internet services have been restored in Howrah district. According to the information received from the District Magistrate's Office, Internet services have been started in the district. In this way, the ban on Internet services has been lifted in the district for the last 3 days. Now people will be able to use internet services in general.

In view of the incidents of violence in the district during the ongoing protests against CAA and NRC, the administration had banned internet services in the entire district. Internet services in Howrah were completely disrupted for the last 3 days. Due to this, ordinary people had to face problems. After getting strong information from the sources, the police have barricaded all the routes of entry into Kolkata and have started searching every vehicle to and fro. Apart from buses, private vehicles are also being stopped and investigated. Originally, police barricades have been done from Bhangra in South 24 Parganas on the way to Newtown. This entire area has been converted into a camp.
