Praful Patel, considered extremely close to NCP chief Sharad Pawar, has been missing in the midst of the ongoing Maharashtra political clutches for the past few days. According to the information received, Praful Patel has not been active on Twitter for the last two days. His last tweet was on football on Friday, but after this he did nothing on Ajit Pawar's rebellion with the party.
On Saturday, the NCP tried twice to convince Ajit Pawar. First Dilip Walse Patil and Hassan Mushrif met him and while making a last effort, Sharad Pawar sent Jayant Patil to him. Sharad Pawar relies on former Union Minister Praful Patel for such talks. Praful Patel is facing investigation in Air India scam.
An NCP source has said that he is calm to avoid investigation into the scam. While another person said on the condition of anonymity that when Sharad Pawar himself is handling the whole matter, what is the need of anyone else. At the same time, some people of the party say that Praful Patel was aware of Ajit Pawar's rebellion but he did not inform the party in time. However, all the leaders are divided about their role and are not able to tell where Praful Patel is?
