According to the media report, his remarks came after his statement in which he said that no state can refuse to implement the CAA when Parliament has passed the law. The senior counsel also said that the legislatures in which the resolutions have passed regarding the CAA are all valid, as all the legislatures have constitutional rights to pass the resolution. If the Supreme Court declared this law constitutional, then for any state to oppose it, the problem will arise.

Apart from this, Sibal tweeted, 'Always said that CAA is unconstitutional. In Kerala, on January 18, the UDF Maharali exposed nine lies of the government on the CAA. At the rally, I said that the CAA should be thrown into the Arabian Sea. He said, 'My speech is on YouTube. I said that the Legislative Assembly resolution is valid. Arguments are being made against the CAA in the Supreme Court, so there is no change in the attitude. No explanation is needed.
