Government of India has taken many useful steps to keep the country green. Under which, very extensive results are being seen. It is not so that people are not worried about the shrinking greenery and its side effects. People are also worried and are silently paying their duty in a very serious way. According to the media report, Green Yatra, an institution of Maharashtra, goes to school and motivates students towards the plantation. Its aim is not just to plant saplings but to instill in children a sense of responsibility for plantation, to teach them responsibility. The name of this program is Go Green Kids. They provide saplings to the children in school and ensure its planting. After the plantation, the children take care of it. The rate of conversion of saplings to trees is 95%.

Set up by Isha Foundation to ride nature, the goal of this institution is to bring the green cover to 33% in Tamil Nadu. To achieve this objective, it has set a target of planting 14.1 crore saplings across the state. The organization has started a Green School Movement campaign in which school children are taught techniques to make nurseries of plants. The organization provides 2 thousand seeds of different species of plants to every child of the school. Children grow a small forest in the school premises. The team of the organization regularly monitors this work and also provides necessary additional help.
