Jaipur: A major development has surfaced recently in Rajasthan where Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the State President of the National Rajput Karni Sena, was shot dead today in the capital city, Jaipur. Subsequently, he was admitted to the Metro Mass Hospital in Mansarovar, where he was pronounced dead. The incident is said to have occurred near his residence in Shyam Nagar, according to the Shyam Nagar police station.

According to reports, the shooting took place near his residence in Shyam Nagar. Following the incident, there has been a heavy crowd gathered at Metro Mass Hospital. Police forces have been deployed to manage the situation. Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi is reported to have been shot twice. So far, there are no clues about the identity of the assailants.

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi has been associated with the National Karni Sena for a long time. After a dispute with the Karni Sena organization, he had formed a separate organization named National Rajput Karni Sena. Gogamedi is the president of this organization. He gained prominence in Rajasthan due to protests against the film "Padmaavat" and the gangster Anandpal encounter case. Several videos related to these issues featuring Gogamedi had gone viral. The news of Sukhdev Singh being shot spread like wildfire across the state. In view of the situation, the entire Jaipur city is on high alert. Similarly, alerts have been issued in other regions of the state. The identity and origin of the assailants are yet to be determined. The police are actively searching for the perpetrators. The administration is closely monitoring the situation. It is reported that Gogamedi had been demanding security for quite some time.
