Raj Niwas, the official residence in Puducherry for tourists, is to be opened from the morning. Kiran Bedi made this announcement on Thursday while addressing French tourists visiting the residence and offices of the Governor. The first Prime Minister of India, late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, called Puducherry a 'window of French culture'.

Tourists, including foreigners, mostly come to visit the union territory in the morning. After knowing the views of the tourists, Kiran Bedi told them that there has been a change in the time allotted for coming here and the diplomat will be open for them even in the morning.
