On Friday, a protest is being held against Amulya in Bengaluru, Karnataka, while his Chikmagaluru residence was attacked late on Thursday night. State Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Friday demanded punishment for Amulya, who on Thursday raised the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad during a rally organized in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

Regarding the matter, he said, 'Amulya, who raised the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad, should not get bail. His father has also said that he will not defend him. This proves that he has contact with naxalites. Proper punishment should be given.
