Amritsar: Harish Rawat has made a big statement on the ongoing clashes between the Congress party in Punjab. They have indicated that a solution has been found to end mutual differences. Captain Amarinder Singh will continue as cm of Punjab. Meanwhile, angry Navjot Singh Sidhu will be made the president of the state Congress unit.

He said two curving presidents will also be made. They will come from the Hindu and Dalit communities. An official announcement on this will be made soon. Sunil Jakhar is currently the state president of the Congress in Punjab. Earlier, there were speculations that Sunil Jakhar would be in the battle between Captain and Sidhu. Captain Amarinder Singh's cabinet may also have some new faces in the coming days in view of the Punjab Assembly elections 2022. There may also be a vote behind making two working presidents in the party. In fact, there was also a difference of opinion whether to hand over the party's responsibility in Punjab to the Hindu leader or to the Sikh leader.

The Congress High Command had held a meeting on Wednesday on the Punjab unit dispute. It raised the possibility of finding a solution. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, organization general secretary KC Venugopal, general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and state in-charge Harish Rawat had brainstormed on the Punjab Congress issue.
