Amritsar: The Congress party has also stepped up preparations as the date for The Assembly elections 2022 in Pan Jab approaches. Just three days ago, Navjot Sidhu, chairman of the selection committee constituted by the Congress high command and head of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, has convened his first meeting. Sidhu informed that the meeting has been held at 5 pm at Punjab Bhawan. All the members of the Committee should be present.
The meeting will deliberate on the upcoming assembly elections and discuss the strategy ahead. The election committee meeting is mainly predicting discussions on tickets and inviting applications etc.
Punjab unit chief and Head of the election committee formed by Congress High Command Navjot Singh Sidhu himself informed about the meeting on his Koo account. He attached the list of election committee members from the high command and requested everyone to come to the meeting. In a tweet, he described the venue of the meeting as Punjab Bhawan and the time at 5 pm.
