However, there have been talks between the two about the farmers' troubles in Maharashtra. During this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was also present there. During this, Sharad Pawar has also written a letter to PM Modi.

In which Sharad Pawar has said that "I have collected crop damage figures from two districts. But due to excessive rainfall, the damage has spread to the rest of Maharashtra, including Marathwada and Vidarbha. I am collecting details and information about the same, the information will be sent to you as soon as possible. In the letter, he further wrote that because of the President's rule in the state, your immediate intervention is highly necessary. I would be grateful if you take immediate steps to initiate massive relief measures and alleviate the sufferings of distressed farmers."
