Mumbai: NCP Chief Sharad Pawar has said on Sunday that some people believe that the construction of the temple will help in ending the global epidemic coronavirus. A day earlier on Sunday, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust suggested two dates of next month to do Bhoomi Puja of Ram temple in Ayodhya, after which Sharad Pawar's comment came out.

The trust has invited PM Modi to do Bhoomi Pujan on August 3 or 5. Pawar told the presspersons in Solapur, "The elimination of coronavirus is the priority of the Maharashtra government, but some people feel that the construction of the temple will help in controlling it." He was asked a question about the proposed date of 'Bhoomi Pujan' of Ram temple, in which he said this in response.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader and MP Arvind Sawant has said that Lord Ram is a matter of faith for his party and his party will not do any politics on this matter. He said that Shiv Sena has played an important role in the Ram temple movement. Party chief Uddhav Thackeray also visited Ayodhya before becoming CM and after taking charge. There is a coalition government in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress.
