Mumbai: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the General Budget in the House on Monday. After the presentation of the budget, the leaders of various opposition parties of the country expressed their reaction. In this series, Maharashtra minister and NCP chief Nawab Malik termed the budget as unfortunate and declared it as a manifesto of BJP.

Nawab Malik has said, "When the budget was presented yesterday, the question arose in the minds of the people whether it was the budget of the country or the manifesto of the BJP. The plans have been announced in the states where elections are held." BJP politics is electoral politics, the government is used only for elections. Nothing unfortunate can happen. In the Modi government's general budget for the year 2021-22, the states of the country like Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Kerala have announced highways, expressways, corridors to textile parks, where assembly elections are to be held this year.

In the budget, projects worth Rs 2.27 lakh crore have been proposed for these states only in the highway infrastructure sector. In the General Budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the construction of a 3,500 km long national highway in Tamil Nadu with an investment of Rs 1.03 lakh crore.
