Lockdown continues due to corona infection in present-day India. Several big institutions in the country have jointly developed a PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) Kit to protect the health workers working against the infection of coronavirus. IIT Delhi, AIIMS, World University of Design and Exile Mills of Chennai have prepared it together. It is expected to start production this week.

On this matter, Vice-Chancellor of World University of Design, Dr. Sanjay Gupta said on Monday that the second round of testing of the prototype of PPE kit is going on in a hospital in Chennai. He told that there is no restriction on the sources of design and production of this kit. Therefore any small or medium industry factory can take interest in its production.

In his statement further, Dr. Gupta said that the biggest feature of this PPE kit is to be extremely safe. There is no inconvenience to remove it because it can be lowered easily without touching its upper infected surface. The prototype of this kit has been prepared keeping this protocol in mind.
