It has now been revealed two days after getting bail from the Supreme Court. It is being told that NDTV journalist Srinivasan Jain has filed a bond for Zubair's bail. Columnist Abhijeet Iyer Mitra confirmed this on the social media platform Twitter.

In a tweet, Abhijeet said that it has been confirmed that Srinivasan Jain has filed a bond for the bail of 'close friend' Mohammed Zubair. In this, Srinivasan Jain has guaranteed that Mohammed Zubair will make an appearance with the competent authority every day. Giving this information, Mitra has also pointed to the nexus between NDTV and AltNews in a series of tweets. After this tweet of Abhijeet, people are saying that 'NDTV, Wire, Caravan, Scroll, Zubair, etc. are all one team, and they get funding from one place to spread propaganda.' Zubair was released on July 20 by the Supreme Court on July 20 on a bail bond of Rs 20,000 in the cases registered in UP. A bench of Justice DY Chandrachud, while delivering its verdict, had said that it was not correct to keep the petitioner in constant custody, that too when there was a similar seriousness between the FIR lodged in the UP Police and the FIR of the Delhi Police.
The top court had said that the relief given by them to Zubair will not work only in the cases of now, but if other FIRs are registered in this regard, then this order of interim bail will also be effective in them. Not only this, the Supreme Court had also quashed the SIT set up to investigate against Zubair. Mohammad Zubair was arrested by the Delhi Police last month on the basis of an old tweet. Zubair was accused of hurting religious sentiments. 6 FIRs were also registered against Zubair in UP. Â Â
