The wrestlers, who have been protesting against allegations of sexual harassment against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, have now got the support of Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj Chopra. Neeraj Chopra said that it is very sad to see athletes coming out on the streets like this and demanding justice. Earlier, Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra had also supported the wrestlers.

Neeraj Chopra has said in a tweet, "I am sad to see our players have taken to the streets to demand justice. These players also work hard to represent our great country and make them proud. As a country, we are responsible for protecting integrity and dignity of every individual, whether he is an athlete or not. Whatever is happening, it should never happen. This is a sensitive issue and should be resolved in a fair and transparent manner. Those sitting at the top should be assured to ensure justice."
